Parental Involvement in Supporting STEM Learning in Low-Income Families

One of the things I’ve learned from working with young children is that they are naturally curious, they love to ask questions, explore, and experiment. Whether it’s building with blocks, mixing colors, or trying to figure out how something works, children are already little scientists, engineers, and problem-solvers. But I’ve also seen how difficult it can be, especially in low-income communities, to keep that spark alive when resources are limited. That’s why I’m so passionate about finding ways to make STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) learning accessible for everyone, with a particular focus on parental involvement in supporting STEM learning in low-income families.  This passion has led me to write my children’s STEM book, STEM Explorers: Discover, Create, and Learn!, and to share ideas through my blogs. I’m also developing free STEM kits filled with simple, everyday items that anyone can use to help children explore and learn. And soon, I’ll be opening my firs...
